The company is very proud of the fact that despite our small numbers we continue to produce boys who are capable of winning the Brigade's highest honour , The Queen's Badge.
The first Queen's Badges in the 284th were awarded in 1964 to
Eric Greig , George Mulvney Jnr and Kenny Forrester.
The other 284th Glasgow Queensmen are

Of the 16 names in the list 13 became officers.
Two (James Sheppard and Daniel Sheppard) becoming Captain of the 284th .
Eric Greig became Captain of the 7th Irvine.
Four still serve with the 284th Glasgow company today.
